Day or night? How to read a scent’s seasons

What the little bottles on a scent page mean, and why some scents belong to winter nights.

On many Treva scent pages you will find a row of small bottles, one for each season and two for day and night. Here is how to read them.

The fuller the bottle, the better the fit

Each bottle is filled as far as the scent suits that moment. The best season and the better of day or night glow a little. A half-full bottle means the scent works then, just not at its best.

Light scents for warm days

Fresh, marine and citrus scents fill the summer and day bottles. Mar Tirreno is a good example: almost full for summer and for daytime.

Warm scents for cool nights

Leather, saffron, amber and woods fill the winter and night bottles. Azaran leans that way: strongest in winter, and at night.

A guide, not a rule

Wear what you love, when you love it. The bottles only show where a scent is most at home.
