Warm air lifts a scent off the skin faster, so it opens louder and fades sooner. A few habits help.
Go fresh by day
Citrus, marine and green notes feel light in the heat. Mar Tirreno, 10/10, Exilé and Tangy Punch are made for hot days. Keep amber, oud and vanilla for the evening, when the air cools.
Spray on skin, right after a shower
Clean, moisturised skin holds a scent longer. Spray on the neck and the inside of the wrists, and let it dry. Rubbing the wrists together only breaks it down faster.
Fewer sprays
In summer, one or two sprays are enough. In warm air a little goes further.
Keep the bottle cool
Heat and sunlight age perfume. Keep the bottle in its box, in a cupboard, away from a sunny window, and never in the car.
